This project envisions a massive, cold, and aseptic necropolis built into the slope of a hillside in the Catalan town of Martivell. A mortuary complex spanning over 125.000 square meters, featuring a series of funeral parlours with independent entrances to hold wakes simultaneously. The resting spaces range from niches in humble halls to illustrious family mausoleums, designed to accommodate whatever aspirations the deceased may have to impress their chosen psychopomp. The barely covered outdoor walkways and corridors act as a memento mori fot visitors as they make their way through the cold and incessant gusts of wind.
